Real-World Data, for Real-World Impact

Robust pilots with third party evaluation have shown:

  • The Navigator reduces staff administrative burden and provides valuable training, and proactive services to help staff work effectively, build client trust and reduce burnout.

  • 75% of user clients identify additional benefits and 44% additional tax credits – together, an average of 54% and $10,000+ annually per household.

  • Increased earned income! – During the Initial Pilot, because of the Scenario Planner transparency, 43% of Navigator user clients increased their income by an average of 24% (as compared to 16% average decrease in the non-user control group over the same time period).  They could see that working more and increasing their income would not create a “benefit cliff.”

Results That Matter

Our pilot results confirm what case workers and families told us from the beginning: the Benefit Navigator is game-changing. By simplifying the complex and providing trusted, transparent information, it increases access to benefits, reduces fear surrounding earning more income, and strengthens both family economic mobility and the caseworker’s ability to serve.

We guarantee up-to-date information thanks to our partnership with PolicyEngine, a highly vetted policy rules database that updates real time as policies change, and we proactively notify you of upcoming policy changes.

We’ve worked with subject matter experts to create a Benefit Navigator Learning Library where you can learn more about navigating benefits and tax credits on demand.
