Bridging Benefits and Workforce Development: Amplifi CEO Jill Bauman at APHSA's Economic Mobility Conference

At the APHSA Economic Mobility and Well-Being Conference, it was inspiring to see the worlds of benefit administration and workforce development come together to tackle the challenges of HR1 and grapple with the tough questions: How do we simultaneously minimize error rates and administrative burden, while promoting economic mobility in a landscape full of benefit cliffs and growing complexity?

New approaches and learnings — like the Benefit Bridge program at Ohio Department of Family Services or Louisiana Works presented by Camille Conaway, and Benefit Cliff policy work being done in different states presented by Rachel Cook and Kapria Lee were front and center. By presenting Benefit Navigator’s Benefit Cliffs and HR1 Compliance tools, it became clear that technology can help bridge these two worlds.

Tools like Amplifi's Benefit Navigator and Economic Mobility platform are built to connect benefit access with workforce development, making it easier to serve people holistically.
